Community Bank donates $100,000 to Dorminy Medical Center

Community Banking Company of Fitzgerald recently donated $100,000 to it’s local hospital - Dorminy Medical Center through Georgia HEART. Georgia HEART (Helping Enhance Access to Rural Treatment) Hospital Tax Program is a tax credit program that empowers Georgia taxpayers to redirect their state income taxes to qualified rural hospitals of their choice. Contributing to Georgia HEART is a great way to support rural hospitals and help expand health care services in our Community for our Community.
Community Banking Company of Fitzgerald recognizes the important role our local hospital holds within our community. In addition to providing much needed rural health care services, Dorminy Medical Center is also a key spoke in our local economic hub. Through the Georgia Heart program, the dollars donated directly to Dorminy Medical Center ultimately benefit each and every one in our community. Since 2018, Community Bank of Fitzgerald has contributed a total of $540,000 to Dorminy Medical Center through the Georgia HEART Program.
Community Banking Company of Fitzgerald’s directors and employees are proud to partner and support Dorminy Medical Center and our community.
